Garden of the Gods Park is one of the most incredible, geological wonders of the world!
The 300 million years of geological history of the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs reveal one of the most extensive pictures of earth history found anywhere in the United States.
The park is located in Colorado Springs' West Side, West of the I-25 corridor and visitors have several different activities to choose from when they arrive. There are 15 miles of trails in the park, and the Visitor & Nature Center has free maps available. Rock Climbing is also permitted in the park with the proper gear and a free registration form filled out.
The Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site is just outside the park and features historical interpreters, dressed in clothing appropriate to their respective era, offering tours, demonstrations, and hands-on learning activities.
