Century Heights is a small residential neighborhood in east-northeast Colorado Springs, just 10 minutes away from the downtown area.
Most of Century Heights falls between Maizeland Road, Constitution Avenue, Circle Drive, and Chelton Road, just south of Colorado Springs’ popular Palmer Park. Some maps have this area listed as “Brady Boulevard”.
Most maps also include an area north of Maizeland Road and south of San Luis Drive in Century Heights, and omit an area between Brady Boulevard and Constitution Avenue. Neighboring areas include Constitution (east), Highland and Country Club (north), Wasson (west), and Smartt and Twain Park (south).
The north eastern corner of Century Heights is home to Nikola Tesla Education Opportunity School, just across the street from St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
<p">Century Heights is mostly a residential area, consisting of mid-sized single family homes, but the surrounding area hosts many parks, shopping, and transport facilities. Constitution Avenue on Century Heights’ south side has a major bus route, and a short distance east is the multi-lane Academy Boulevard.
Academy Boulevard is also home to many businesses, restaurants, and services.

The Palmer Park Trailhead is just a few minutes from the northeastern corner of Century Heights, along with Palmer Park’s more developed facilities, including a baseball field, greens, and play area.
To the west of Century Heights is Wasson Park, also with a ball field, play area, and greens. This park also includes courts for basketball and ample space for outdoor activities of your choosing.
Other parks in the area include Audubon Park, Twain Park, and Jefferson Park.
Various shopping centers dot the neighborhoods and suburbs around Century Heights, like North Circle Plaza and Markets at Maizeland. Some notable businesses in the area are Hooked On Books used book store, Van’s Comics comic book store, Skate City Academy roller rink, and PinHeadz Bowling Center bowling alley.
For golfers, the Colorado Springs Country Club and Patty Jewett Golf Course are nearby.
Schools like Twain Elementary and Roy J Wasson High School are also in the area.
