North Union Boulevard runs through the northwestern portion of Garden Ranch, providing access to downtown Colorado Springs in as little as 15 minutes.

Garden Ranch’s neighbors include University Park to the northwest, Vista Grande to the north, Old Farm and Village Seven to the east, and Saint Andrews to the south.

Academy Boulevard is home to a number of restaurants, stores, and other businesses, culminating in a large shopping mall, Marketplace at Austin Bluffs, at the intersection with Austin Bluffs Parkway.

Attractions and Amenities

One of the biggest advantages of living in Garden Ranch is its close proximity to the popular Palmer Park, one of the largest parks in Colorado Springs. Just a few minutes south of Garden Ranch, Palmer Park is easily accessible and offers visitors and residents the use of 25 miles of multi-use trails, beautiful natural surroundings, and facilities like a playground, two baseball diamonds, a dog park, and picnic areas. The park also includes its own botanical preserve and has a road for taking scenic drives.

Palmer Park consists of small rocky outcrops and hills, an island of elevation in the plains east of the front range, providing excellent views of the surrounding suburbs and city.

But Palmer Park isn’t the only place for outdoor fun or staying fit in Garden Ranch. There are other parks like Union Meadows, Grant Park, Tomah Park, Fremont Park, and Garden Ranch Park. Although much smaller than Palmer Park, these spaces are impressive in their own right as community parks. Most have ball diamonds and play areas, as well as ample greens for activities of your choice.

Garden Ranch is also known for its YMCA next to Garden Ranch Park. This facility offers programs, spaces, and equipment for staying active and healthy.
