Growing up in the "mile-wide" town of Denver, Iowa, I always thought of Colorado as the definition of beauty and endless outdoor activities. My family would make an annual spring break trip to the ski slopes of Summit County...I always hoped a snowstorm would extend our stay!
After graduating from Iowa State University in 1999, I worked in Overland Park, Kansas and Sacramento, California as a Professional Civil Engineer specializing in transportation design, utility design, and land development.
My husband and I were lucky enough to relocate to the Colorado Springs area in 2003. Even though I loved the challenge of the engineering field, I have always been intrigued by the housing market and had a passion for home design and trends. In 2006, I obtained my Colorado Real Estate license and I have been helping people with their real estate goals and dreams ever since. We have lived in Monument, Colorado since 2003 and love to call the Pikes Peak Region HOME. We have 3 wonderful daughters and a handsome dog named Rocky. We are avid skiers, hikers, "atvers", and enthusiastic campers. By camping, I mean "second-homing" in our 5th wheel!
Since 2006, I have specialized in residential real estate and home staging in Colorado Springs, Monument, El Paso County, Southern Douglas County and Teller County. in 2011, I obtained my Accredited Staging Professional designation. I have a 50/50 balance of representing clients as a Buyer’s Agent and Listing Agent. I stage approximately 50 to 60 homes a year.
